Yamarin 88 DC's handling is also appreciated by the demanding boater. The boat's stable driving feel persists even at high speeds and rough weather. The largest engine option for the Yamarin 88 DC is the Yamaha XTO 425 hp, with a top speed of almost 50 knots. (Note: Largest -22, this one has XTO 450 -25..)

The design of the Yamarin 88 Day Cruiser has focused on the comfort of the boat and at sea. Behind the driver's seat is a large cockpit, where there is a G-shaped sofa bench with seating for 8-10 people and in the middle a large table. The galley has a stove and washbasin, the practical folding table folds up from the front of the galley. The refrigerator is located under the kitchenettes. Under the port seat there are drawers for e.g. containers.

The driver has a 16-inch Yamarin Q smart display in front of him. The Yamarin Q is a versatile on-board computer and infotainment system that displays the boat's gauges, electronic maps, operating instructions and the handling of a wide range of optional equipment on the easy-to-use and clear touchscreen. The Yamaha outboard motors also integrate seamlessly into the Yamarin Q smart display.

The boat has two cabins with their own entrance. In the spacious forecabin, two people sleep comfortably and there is a separate, spacious toilet with sink. Through the skylights that are located on both sides of the deck, light streams in and the cabin also has two lights. The middle cabin with a two-person bunk is located under the cockpit, and it is easily accessed by lifting up the hinged middle bench of the cockpit. If you use the boat for day trips, you can easily place your luggage in the knitting berth via the hatch.

The large two-level swimming platform facilitates boarding and offers space for water games. The sprayhood is located behind the aft bench in a compartment with hinges, from which it is easy to set up. The mattress of the knitting berth fits directly on the swimming platform located between the sprayhood compartment and the engine, which transforms the surface into an excellent sunbed
