Den drygt fyra och en halv meter långa Yamarin 46 SC är trygg och lätt att hantera, och lämpar sig därför också mycket bra som första båt. Det är lätt att ta sig ombord tack vare de stadiga stävräcken, som också förbättrar säkerheten då lägger till vid brygga eller hoppar ned på en sandstrand.
