The boat houses lockable storage compartments both in the bow and stern, and a center bench that can be adjusted longitudinally. The oars can be locked under the stern bench.

Despite its width, the Terhi 440 is surprisingly easy to row. The boat can row from both the middle and front benches and a pair of oars with oar cleats are included as standard equipment. The adjustable center bench and several different footrests make it comfortable for people of different heights to row the boat. The middle bench can also be detached and attached to the front center bench, as more space is possible for barns and other luggage.

On the transom there is a max. 10 hp outboard, but for the smoothest possible operation, we recommend a 4-6 hp outboard.
Terhi 440 is a so-called displacement boat, which displaces the water in a volume corresponding to the boat's weight. In practice, this means that only the carrying capacity is improved when the boat is equipped with an outboard whose displacement is at the upper end of the engine recommendation. For increased comfort of use, there is a separate engine well, as well as space to attach the oars while driving with the engine.
